Chris and Alana Posted August 22, 2007 Share Posted August 22, 2007 Hi guy's, I remember reading something about cable ties in petrol a little while ago but cant remember if they are ok or not? The reason I ask is because when I fitted my walbro about 6months ago I used plastic cable ties to hold the fuel pump in place and the last thing I want is for them to break and have a free fuel pump plodding about my fuel tank pulling on the electrical connections Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Jake Posted August 22, 2007 Share Posted August 22, 2007 Some are fine, some aren't. The ones that aren't tend to dissolve pretty quickly. If in doubt whip the hanger out and have a butcher's.
