stt
Last sunday when i was doing my usual drag from Swindon to Bristol on the M4 the weather was absolutely bo**ocks and as per usual im sat behind the road captains on the outside lane who think that because they are breaking the speed limit they are perfect entitled to just sit there,my car was getting a fair amount of surface spray hittng it when I pulled off onto the A46 the car started spluttering and misfiring for a few minutes then it cleared,Ive noticed this once or twice before but most of that was down to dodgy coil packs which have since been replaced,Does anyone else get similar problems with thiers when the weather is a bit crap or have I got something wrong?? Answers on a postcard and send them to the usual address Regards Tim
Jake
My car spends most of its life on the motorway and at this time of year that usually means in the rain. I can't say I've ever had that spluttering and misfiring problem though. The only time mine acts anything like that is if it's been left ticking over for ages it seems like the plugs get fouled up or something. Usually clears within a few seconds once you start driving though. Not much help but just fyi. Good luck sorting it out
