bmx1lew
See this thread on jap north east, shiney bit's paid £1000 for his respray however he had to fit his body kit himself. heres the link http://www.japnortheast.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=15634 the pic's are not amazing but the job is spot on just as good as any where else. If i cant find grey supra in my budget im just going to get a silver and to the same guy and get it sprayed grey, like people say you get what you pay for but also can be a game of chance there's a subaru specialist up here who resprayed a scooby in black for £700 and the job was flawless, but then again for the same price i have seen cars with over spray run's, and missing lacker patches. RobDogg
The laquer is going in a couple of places on mine and I need to get it resprayed as you cant just do the laquer. How much do you think it would be for a respray in the same colour. There arn't any dents that need fixing etc. Would it be cheaper if I had new bumpers and skirts ready to go on that were already primed and just needed painting! I wish I knew someone who could do a decent job for £500!
TT Robbo
been thinking about this.i do really need a re-spray,near side front wing is chipped badly same with the bonnet and front bumper. oh,and the bumper had two dings in that i knocked out myself. but saying that i dont have the funds to make my supe a show car. buy a second hand wing, bonnet and bumper that are in good order and that just leaves me with e few bits. seems this is the way i will have to go. Stevo
My kid brother currently works as a sprayer for Aston Martin at their workshop up here in the North East. He gave me a tour of their bodyshop facilities a few weeks back for a 'behind the scenes' look - oh my god . The place was like a military facilitity of some sort! Seen some of the stuff he has worked on - mainly older stuff like DB5s etc and it is an absolute top notch job as you'd expect. However, the average price customer's pay for a respray there is £15,000........
