Mas Posted August 21, 2007 Share Posted August 21, 2007 Might you guys covered this before, but I need to get this dorted asap as I nearly smashed into some idiots reversing into me and I couldnt even sound my horn as it for some reasons stoped working! I was looking into the fuse box and need to check the horn thingy is working or not, but I cant get it out! Is this the right bit that I have to check ? how to check ? any other ideas why the horn stopped working suddenly? its nearly new and was working fine for the past few months! Do you have a standard steering wheel? Have you removed the cover so you can see the horn wires? You should be able to earth the horn to get it to sound... You can see if its the switching or an actual power supply problem... Ive seen many standard steering wheel horn problems... (to remove the cover of the wheel, if you turn it upside down you will find a screw holding it on... Most people dont see this and just pull... The problem is this screw acts as the earth if the thread has snapped off when you press the horn it wont earth, thus not work) has anything else stopped working? No mate I ve got a momo steering wheel in the car and the fuses were all ok as I checked them before getting to the grey relay which I couldnt remove or do anything to it!
