kslb
I have spoken to Graham at Sky and declared all my mods, absolutely everything and am awaiting the quote, as soon as I get it I will post it but I was a bit dissapointed they are not doing agreed value anymore but the like for like on modified parts sounded ok. If you have any other suggestions about insurers please feel free to suggest them. I am a bit worried about the quote coming in as I am only paying about £400 fully comp at the moment but with the recent single and all the other bits I hope I can afford it...lol

Guest Chumpalot
just had a quote back from Greenlight, a shade over £1,000. I'll stick with Tesco at £600 I think.

Alex C
adrian flux are definitely worth a shout. ...until renewal time comes:rolleyes: A-Plan for me last 3 years...no agreed value either but beat Sky by a fair margin. Good if you have a proven history of owning fast cars without putting them through a hedge.
farmer
well guys, zenith through the aa (with 3 pnts) 321.51 / alternative agian through aa with norwich union 321.51 (and they siad they would match a cheaper quote by 10%, so i said go for it and they came back at 289.12) i'm also waiting for the nfu and sky so i'll post if they come up with anything. most of these companies a year or two ago would not touch import how things change when they smell cash, its always worth being hard with them when your on the phone. just a couple of piont, full ncd for yrs, protected, and with the old gal on the policy as well but do remember we are nearer our bus passes than most of u (oh crap)............. DaveK
Try 2gether - they specialise in imports and were cheapest for me. Gave a good quote on the 964 too.
gambie
my renewal from sky was £475 so i rang a flux and they told me £380 but they could not do the agreed value so i passed this quote on to sky and they matched it but have put the price of the agreed value up to £72.50 so cant complain at £452.
Branners
just had a quote back from Greenlight, a shade over £1,000. I'll stick with Tesco at £600 I think. do Tescos actually know whats on your car? You have an extensive list of mods and it normally needs a specialist like Sky or A-Plan to quote correctly for it... kslb
Well Graham from Sky has just got back to me and they will not insure my car as it is valued over 15K. They would not do the agreed value and due to my "extensive list of mods and value of the car" would not insure it. He gave me a number to call which was the call connect number. I will try some of the ones suggested in the thread but am dissappointed that the club insurer cannot insure my car!!!

ozz
I'm with Bell Direct, they seem really good. I had a great quote from Sky though and they weren't worried about a few mods if I did them so will probably choose them in November (renewal).
