Hey Guys,

I have a jza80 1994 Aerotop, I have quite alot of noise comming from the roof. Since i'm in Australia we have few Aeros and more to the point not many people that can help with advice hense my post here.

The problem in detail:

The front left passenger side screw appears to be rounded off, which can be fixed, however from looking at the mount that holds the screw in its already been done a few times.

So i'm getting alot of rattle and squeeks, but evan when the screw is tight i still have noise, evan tho it will pop out as soon as i go over a small bump.

So i'm wondering if anyone has had similar problems, and if so what solutions are out there?

thanks for ya time guys.

Take the roof lining off the aerotop section ( it just unclips - with care) and tighten up all the bolts inside that hold the roof structure together. That should cure most of the rattles, and if you want a 110% job, replace the front and rear rubber roof seal strips.
