RobSheffield
Its not that hard to do, just hard to do it right, and to keep on going over and over. Plus you get covered in wax all the time, which is less great

Fargo
well first attempt but my dad has a big machine at the garage and my brother told me about it so i decided to see if that would polish my turbo pipes, tryed it for 5 minutes and that really worked came out mirror finish out of interest, what techniques are you using. ive started to do my turbo pipes, been usning a B&D finger sander with 60 grit, then 240 grit, then 400, then some metal polish, then blue and brown bar with the cotton mops.. Fargo
so you just use the white bar, what about rubbing the metal down etc.
SupraJames
I did all my Turbo pipes and yes takes ages but worth it, but lucky for me I have a big bench polisher with loads of different mops and wheels. Started with Alo Oxide paper and then went down grades to it was smooth then on the polisher with the course wheels and then down grade the wheels and compounds. At some stage might have a go at my cam covers and intake manifold, just when I have time.
