R3DG3CKO ROB Posted August 17, 2007 Share Posted August 17, 2007 Errr... I'm changing the rear discs on my J-Spec I've got the caliper off and the pads are gone but the disc is holding on firm... I remember reading something about winding the handbrake adjuster? or something like that but I didn't think that not doing that would stop the disc coming off??? bignum Posted August 17, 2007 Share Posted August 17, 2007 Does the disc seem loose, ie you can pull it forwards slightly if so then the handbrake shoes are catching, if you cant move the disc at all then its siezed on the hub, i think theres 2 treaded holes in the disc to screw bolts into which pushes the disc off. Paul Posted August 17, 2007 Share Posted August 17, 2007 There's a hole with a knurled adjuster sitting inside, you turn it to release the shoes.
