VIL
For a while now I have had the familiar clunking sounds coming off the front when pulling up on the drive or in a slow corner on a tight lock and put it down to lose subframe bolts. Had a load of service work carried out and intended to get the subframe re torqued. Although the garage could not find anything that needed tightening? As part of the service I had all new pads and hey presto...no more clunking. My guess is that the clunking noise was the pads shifting in the calipers, so if anyone else has the same problems check its not your pads..... Note, the pads I took out where EBC 'green', a load a crap, way too hard and squealed like a stuck pig! Hope this helps...
