ukApache
I fitted this speedm8 converter the other week because the 'unknown' (probably ebay) one that was in there before was giving me readings about 20mph optimistic when driving above 40mph. The new one seems a lot better but checking it against a sat. nav. it still seems to be out by about 5-10mph I've checked for error codes and get nothing (i thought maybe it might show a speed sensor prob. or something). I haven't checked it against the sat. nav. at higher speeds but just comparing to other cars and how i feel it seems like it doesnt add any more than 10mph to the actual speed, so at least its a bit better than the last one Any ideas on this?? Also where is the speed sensor located? Maybe i could give it a clean?? I'd be really grateful for any input on this. Thanks!
Jake
That's normal. You could fit an adjustable DSC from either YELLR or Thor Racing if you want to get it spot-on.
ukApache
ok thanks Jake. For the record I tried to get the Thor DSC but couldn't get hold of one, I heard they had problems with them and stopped selling them?
