Anyone have the fat red spiders about where you live? had loads of encounters with these buggers! i hate them!

Was lying in bed one night and saw these two black things approaching me from the top of the wardrobe, i turned the light on and saw then coming right at me!

And my bedroom door is a dark brown colour, i opened it once and right in front of my face one was stealthing away right on the door!

The worst one was i went to pick up my flannel to dip and wash me face with and one was in there and ran straight up my arm!! scared me a bit to say the least!!

There out to get me!

just moved into my house and saw it when on the loo , it disapeared for about a week then reappeared downstairs twice as big so i had to kill it ( it looked more ant shaped than normal spiders , shorter legs).

i also hate spiders and for this reason , haven't ventured into my attic and wont buy bannanas , sad i know.

I was told recently a good way of killing them is by spraying butane lighter fluid over them , if u can catch them, they'll freeze and just crumble

I've learnt to love the huge spiders you get running into your house in Autumn. It's bug hunting season. I get my MP5 auto BB gun and mow them down in a hail of 6 mm plastic death. Once I had a near death moment when during a magazine change the spider turned round and decided attack was the best form of defence. But I rolled out of the way and nailed it with my manual Glock 17 sidearm. Never go gardening without it.

:rlol: all night

I hate daddy long legs the most. I properly freak out and leg it. Can't help it although I know it is silly!

They are so unpredictable and they fly AT ME!

Not a moth fan either and discovered neither did I like butterflies when someone took me in a butterfly house - not good.

Spiders aren't so bad but I will always remove or kill.

softy;)

Looks like a normal house spider to me. We get them all the time in our old house. Lots of cavities to hide in. I normally just let them have a walk over me while I'm transporting them outside :)

well we've just spotted a HUGE spider on the wall of the stairs in our block of flats.

The body of the spider itself was bigger than a 1p piece. I kid you not. Scared us sh*tless! We left it and got in our flat - i've been a bit paranoid about it since! Hope it's not there tomorrow when we go out...

Or perhaps I should hope it IS there, so I actually know where it is, and know that it isn't lurking in the flat somewhere! Argh!
