brettjones
how do i get more boost i have done a bpu full decat with r/ring but only have 1.0 bar
Ian W
it's likely you've just got a 1.0bar restrictor ring in mate so you'd need to physically turn it up. A digital boost controller is your best bet as you can set the boost digitally and turn it up at the flick of a switch
Steviekid
how do i get more boost i have done a bpu full decat with r/ring but only have 1.0 bar Get a restrictor ring with a larger diameter or a boost controller.
dini_the_owl
what exhaust are you running? stock one will only let you boost to that anyway
Nic
Either file out the hole in the restrictor ring to reduce restriction and therefore increase boost. Or if it was me I'd fit a boost controller and use that to up the boost.
merckx
It will go up a little when it gets cold in the winter. The easiest way is to fit an electronic boost controller and it will increase the boost you've got to 1.2bar. The cheapest way is to fit a bleed valve but you'll have to adjust iit manually. Homer
Looking at your times Brett, are you sure boost is your issue? They were quite low considering you're seeing 1.0bar. At that boost even my manual managed a 13.6 and 110mph temrinal, the auto should be 0.5s quicker than that.
Daston
I am currently running 1 bar due to fuel cut and managed 14.01 or something as my best time (I am a noob tho)

Homer
uhh not much over 100 I dont think 110 I think was my best. 100 to 110 means a BIG difference in power, NA's can get up to 95mph terminals. A stock auto should be able to get 105mph terminal. Adi even made a 12.8 @ 111mph at 1.2bar (basic bpu mods) on an otherwise standard auto road car.
