Ian W
doubtful you'll get a certificate from toyota saying such mate as they were only designed to take 16in or 17in wheels as standard.
kieren1234
thats wierd that they are asking for that.....
colsoop
What tyre sizes does the lexus gs300 use ? as that might be an avenue to go down.
Ian W
What tyre sizes does the lexus gs300 use ? as that might be an avenue to go down. I did think about that too, although then the letter would say these tyres would fit a Lexus GS300 and not a Toyota Supra. Worth a shot i guess
markus99
tell me about it! because there spec says the uk car has 17's they won't give me them until toyota say otherwise!
jim_supra
tell me about it! because there spec says the uk car has 17's they won't give me them until toyota say otherwise! Get a free set of tyres for the stock 17'' wheels, then flog them and buy some for 18'' wheels. Only easy way I can see around it.

Worth a shot i guess But then you Ask Toyota if the lexus wheels have the right offset and fitment to fit a Toyota Supra. Then give the 2 letters (if they even reply) to Michelin job done

Get them fitted to someones car you trust keep the old ones, change them back somewhere else unless that person wants to buy them off u, else sell them as new

Chris Wilson
Have you any IDEA what Toyota GB 's legal department would do if they found someone forging a letter from them, especially one they might see as having safety implications...? Are we going to be having a group buy on forged tax discs next? If you want to put none approved tyres on the car just buy the damned things, discussing this on a forum where we might want help from Toyota GB at some time isn't too sensible, IMO
