Wez
Has anyone had the AP Racing brake kit fitted to there J-Spec TT? Just wondering what sort of difference it would make over the standards and what wheel you would need to fit them large discs under. I seem to remember someone telling me that the standard 17`s are not big enough, so can anyone recommend the wheel size needed.
Alex
the AP kit is 354mm which means you need 18" wheels. On the AP site is a diagram showing you all the fitment measurements you need. Find the Supra kit and there should be some links to info from there.
Paul Whiffin
Difficult one this one, I've got 19" wheels and they didn't fit inside them. It all depends on the offset and design of your wheels. This is the reason why I'm in the middle of making my own kits up. The 6 pot caliper I'm using is much smaller than the AP and will fit under more or less any design/offset of wheel. And I'm doing a bigger kit than the AP. Will be available in 330mm, 356mm(same as AP) and 378mm. Cheers Paul
Alex
AP actually recommend Gewalt Split Rims (18") Christian Doran has them fitted to his car and they do look quite good.
