j80leo
The other annoying aspect to this is the people who then pull out a mile away from the offender to create a huge "conga" of cars in the outside lane, then you have a huge section of the middle lane empty and the whole of the inside lane while those skilled folk in the outside lane drive too close to one another and cause delays with their constant braking. Trucks playing at 56mph vs 55.9mph racing also annoys me, especially when they pull out in a mad swerve while giving you a millisecond of indicator to react to. Actually most other drivers / humans annoy me now I think about it. thats a good answer fella spot on;)
Kieran
When I'm driving the Supe, they don't bother me too much cos I can just blast past them, it's when I'm driving my work van they get right on my tits. When they're doing 65 in the middle lane and I have to overtake them at 70-odd, I end up holding up some tit driving right up my arse in a Beemer or a Merc, and I get the dirty looks! BASHTHEBISHOP
I hate all bad driving but then hypocrytically drive badly as a result i.e i will undertake the middle lane/fast lane hogging idiots. The ones that really annoy me though are the ones that know they are doing it i.e they are sat in the outside lane with no traffic, you sit behind them a while maybe even flash your lights, you move to the inner lane to pass & they move in front....you move to the outer lane & they move in front of you again grrrrrr:taped: I have had a couple of bad road rage incidents after similar incidents and i am usually very laid back. supra61
What annoys me more is people who hog the fast lane and will just sit there. With my luck I would undertake them and then get done by the police. At least you can go pass middle lane hoggers legaly. had the outside lane hogger yesterday, not going overly fast and the prat would not move over,he was doing 65(at a push)sat there for 5 or 6 mins flashed the lights he raises his arm as if to say i'm going fast enough.there was nothing in the middle lane for miles yet he would not move over.flashed again and pointed to the empty middle lane, twat then waves and moves over, i cruise past and he waves and mouths "nice car"foookin t**t
edge
The ssqv seems to work nicely when someone is in the way. But my single turbo'd ........ van is not the fastest tool, i used to be a road rager holic but 50k miles a year soon calmed me down. I like to blow them kisses as i pass (eventualy) , Espesialy to the bmw drivers with there bit of totty in the seat that seems to find it funny and makes them even more irate. Spread the love i say. And i love the lapping idea!
ECK
The ssqv seems to work nicely when someone is in the way. whats the ssqv mate?
michael
whats the ssqv mate? An odd device for making people think a bus is behind them, when they can't see one they panic and pull over.
dangerous brain
Can't see the logic in lapping someone. If I am in so little a rush to get somewhere I am driving slower than trucks so never come across pillocks in the middle lane otherwise I just by-pass them and leave them firmly behind me without a second thought. In heavy traffic I actually applaud the middle lane hoggers and the outside lane only bmw owners as it leaves me a whole lane all to myself an the occasional truck. mikeyb10supra
This only bothers me when its dead quite, then there really is no need to be in the middle, when its busy like most normal days on the m25 it dont worry me, to drive the correct way you would need to be in and out of the middle lane so much it would completely get on your nerves and probably be more unsafe then just staying there in the first place
Sheefa
Not really bothered about any of the above tbh. I just dodge and weave as necessary to make my way. The motorways are always a mare. What however is really fecking annoying (sorry beforehand to all truckers out there), is the typical 10 minute scenario of a truck/lorry attempting to overtake another truck/lorry for absolutely no reason whatsoever doing an extra +1mph. It takes them a good 5 minutes and no doubt when they reach their final destination they'll only be a mile or so ahead of the 5,000 other 'slower' trucks/lorries they've overtaken. It's most damn annoying when said 'fast' lane is blocked by countless traffic and you're stuck behind the lorry driver who thinks he's bloody Senna.
