Dave Haggas
Please dont think me heartless, but after the incident yesterday, does the M40 really need to be shut again today? colsoop
It isn't the whole things though is it ? I suppose they need another chance to check for forensic evidence, on a clean and clear day. A delay getting to where you are going is a small price to pay if they catch the scum that did it. Is there no alternative route to get to your client Dave ? kieren1234
I think it is a small price to pay aswell if it helps the murderer to be caught. Tragic!!

I agree it is a terrible waste of life etc,but I cant help but think it was closed for hours yesterday and now again today. Is it not a little extreme? I suppose it is because I am a little ignorant to what the clue guys do! Regards to me getting to my client,I could get there if it was urgent.Trouble is everyone else will be doing the same. Ive rebooked for tomorrow now. I hope I havent caused any offence posting this,it wasnt my intention.

merckx
It's obviously going to me much harder looking for evidence as the chances of it being contaminated are much greater because of the location. Once they re-open the road they cannot go back like they can with most other murder scenes.
boombastictiger
no one really knows what happans though, maybe the biker started it off or something, they could close 1 or 2 lanes, but I dont see why the whole thing needs to be closed... Animal
Do we actually know it was an Angel that was shot, another MC member, or just some unfortunate bloke who'd been to the Bulldog? If it's an argument between patch clubs, then it could get messy.
dangerous brain
I concur slightly. What do they expect to now find a day after the motorway has been re-opened and driven on?? If they've got police officers wandering up and down the armco looking for spent cartridges etc then yeah they have no choice but to close off the motorway but why didn't they finish that off last night before opening the motorway back up?? Perhaps they felt that they had kept the poor buggers stuck on the motorway in the actual incident for hours long enough???
