Car chase movie suggestions?

lol, yeah that is a mid engined one in the film isn't it? They do sound good :)

Yep, very under rated car in their time. I just loved mine and restored it from a wreck to this:

I then sold it to its original owner for enough money to buy a 5 year old MKIV TT and enough change for another one :) One of life's better deals, there aren't many like that come your way ;)

I don't suppose many here will remember them in their heyday as a Group B rally car? Excessive power, lots of lag and dangerous structures?

I saw Transformers the other day (Megan Fox ) and there was a good little car chase between Bumblebee (Camaro) and Barricade (Saleen 5281 Mustang)

Here's one that never appears on these lists of films but I love the car chase in The Blues Brothers, total police car wastage, as well as shopping mall action. Love it :D

The new Tarrantino film "Death Proof" is a bit of an homage to Car Chase movies, even though I thought it sucked.

Question: When the bird was on the "hood", why didn't they just stop and shoot him? :search:

Typical Tarentino movie though, which quite pleased me for the hour and a half or so. :)

They had more than enough opportunities for her to get off, but then I guess that the scene would have been a lot lot shorter had she done so. Also, Tarrantino was show casing how car stunts were done before CGI.

You mean the head on crash scene was not done by CGI?

I was actually talking about the car chase in my original post.

The cars colliding wasn't CGI apperently, however the birds being all FUBAR inside tha car obviously was due to the fact that the actors guild wouldn't much like it eh.

I have done some housework and included all the extra films suggested after I had originally posted mine - I started a new thread to clean it up and the link is below. I also added to links to all but 2 film titles...:ok:
