I dont even do sheeps, its goats - more of a kick, just ask Daman C ;)

Astonomotrometry was the last thing on your mind when you started this thread! You were just on the lookout for slightly below average intelligence goats with a penchance for sparkly things!!!

aye, as I thought it's an annual event, I think that the 7 year thing may have been mentioned because of the position of the moon, as it co-incided this year with the start of a new moon (And I always thought we got the same one each time), the light from that would light the particles up more...

Surely a new moon means you can see the meteors better as the moon isn't giving out any light? :)

 

I've forgotten every night about this!

But a new moon just coming up from over the side will reflect the suns light towards it?...
