Pot
I'm watching Star Wars atm, heard the shower'll get better later into the night, and it's a bit cloudy here, so I might see some later
JamesG
Conditions are perfect here and there's hardly any light pollution. I stood outside for a bit and saw 1-2 per minute. I saw a couple of satellites too

Apparently it is going to happen all week. I was watching last night and saw loads, there some really impressive ones too, where the tail of them was a light blue and seemed to stay for ages! I saw 6 satellites aswell.

JohnA
Meteor shower my ass, I was out staring at the sky 3:30 - 04:00 last night and only saw 3 (three) half-assed falling stars. Saturday night the same, I feel let down by the Cosmos. I was looking mainly NorthEast, that's where it was meant to be, right?

There's a good website that provides a schedule for seeing the International Space Station. When you see it, it's brighter than the brightest star and travels right across the sky in about 2-3 minutes. Cambridge schedule is here: http://www.heavens-above.com/PassSummary.asp?satid=25544&lat=52.205&lng=0.144&loc=Cambridge&alt=40&tz=GMT
Fifty
saw about 30 in 30 mins here in Cornwall 2310-2340 -totally clear night and very dark of course as we live away from civilisation lol pretty much falling from any direction but mostly directly above. saw one really big one with a 2-3 second burnout; bounced on the atmosphere, very shallow hit , did a twist and put a wide light band out - gorgeous.
