Muffleman
See if there's anyone near you that would take you for a drive in a single'd auto ?
Pig
Make sure you go for a small single otherwise i suspect you may find it a little difficult
Steve
You would be best going for a T61 BL turbo for a auto. Also changing the torque converter.
Gamer
Make sure you get some additional cooling for the transmission.

Jake
The first single turbo Supra I ever drove was a BL67 on an auto with stock Torque Converter. It was so slow off the mark that it put me off singles for along time. I wouldn't consider anything bigger than a t61 on an auto.

2jzhead
How slow are we talking off the mark, because fitting a high stall convertor will make it rather hard to drive in normall traffic i was thinking http://www.wotm.com/bolotuki.html or maybee http://www.wotm.com/greddyt78.html

2jzhead
None but i was told they rev to about 3k then set off? is this correct
dangerous brain
None but i was told they rev to about 3k then set off? is this correct No it means you can rev it at a standstill to 3k rpm rather than only 2k rpm with the stock TC. Clearly if you can set off at 3k rpm you are closer to the turbo spooling than if you set off at 2k rpm. Kapeesh
2jzhead
lol ok, after mutch thought, i have decided to buy a manual single. I dont wanna stick a turbo on this, and not be able to upgrade later because of box, and i dont think i will be able to scrape enough pennys together to get a manual conversion. So, what is ma supe worth then, (hoping arround 10 - 11k)
bromy
I can take you out in a BL T61 manual, if you can get to Macclesfield

I agree, I personally would not use a stock auto transmission for any type of single, if I had the cash and wanted to do things properly I would go for a BL transmission and a higer stall
2jzhead
The car has done 83,000 Km
dangerous brain
The car is worth what you can get for it basically. When I sold mine it was worth £14k, after 8 months I took £11.5k for it. Two weeks later the new owner was offered £14k for it so clearly it was worth £14k. Depends on location, where you are advertising it and how lucky you get. Being brutally honest having BPU mods and being very well maintained and blingy doesn't seem to command any more money than being bone stock right now.
