bowk1uk
my speedo stopped working today, and also getting warning light and flashing od light have a thor speed converter and delimiter fitted ,been fitted for 3 years with no problems could this be the speed delimiter broken
stevie_b
Sounds like it might be the converter/delimiter broken. Never heard of that happening, but I guess it can happen. The fact the speedo has stopped working means that the speed signal is lost early on in the process. Try removing the Thor unit and see what happens. First try restoring the original signal feed to the back of the speedo dial. If the speedo then works, it's all likely to be caused by the converter/delimiter. If the speedo still doesn't work, I would begin to suspect the speed sensor itself (or its wiring of course). My guess is that one of the power connections to the Thor unit has come loose. sdavies
Taking the power away from the Thor unit is sometimes enough to reset the problem. I found disconnecting the battery for 2 minutes then reconnecting it sorted this problem out for me. It has only happened the once mind you and it was a jump start that fragged it.
