Exhausts! What to do

Hey guys and gals looking to do somthing with the exhaust but kinda a newbie and was wondering what options i have and what is best for what money. I live in Cornwall but am next to plymouth so if anyone knows where i can get the work done be most appretiated. Up for any suggestions from the most simple and cheapest to the most wallet damaging options. It a N/A and is my new baby lol. thanks in advance i know u'll av some good ideas cheers carlos

Go custom build ;) Much, much cheaper and lots of option's. I was thinking of going Blitz RX but at the end of the day it's an exhaust with a fancy name.

Would be a different if I had a tt though. But for a N/A dont bother, it just means you can spend the money you saved on doing other parts of the Supe up.:eyebrows:

another Q what size end pipe shall i have what does a 5" pipe look like to big? i really aint got a clue :rolleyes:

 

A five inch pipe on an 3.0 N/A? Far, far too big, you'll screw up the back pressure. I wouldn't go over a 3" pipe on an N/A. If you go the custom route either go to a specialist who knows his stuff, or get a book about NA tuning and find out exactly what you need for a three litre car that revs to 7 grand and ask someone to build exactly what's required.

cheers guys, think i''l go custom but what end pipe size to have. oval or circle and what size, i mean whats gona look ok and not be to over the top. i want a big 1 but where do you draw the line. what sizes do you have? cheers again carlos
