Guest godzilla
Hi, i bought the s14a as featured in junes japanese performance a couple of months ago and its quick and handles lovely! but i got offered £7200 the other day! i thought do i say no or take the money so i looked at two cars i like a supra manual tt or a gtr i had a r33 gtst before and i miss the comfort and sound it made so i went out in my mate r33 gtr v-spec and loved being back in a skyline now it will cost 7/8k for a r32gtr and £1300 to insure it so thats like 8/9k on the road but i cant spend 7.5/8k on a supra and pay just £600 to insure it i went for a test drive in a standard auto tt supra it felt smooth and when i looked at the speedo i thouht hhmmm dont feel like im doing this speed but there was no feel of going fast or kick in the back! my silvia felt a lot faster....but why? is it cos the sup is stock? with a filter,s/s and boost will that make a huge diff? Tricky-Ricky
I will say my mates R32 felt way quicker than my BPU Supra, but it has had about 15K spent on it 500+ BHP and now he has some different turbos on it , seems to have lost its punch. Guest godzilla
i went in a r33 gtr with filters, cat back s/s runing 0.7 bar whats traction like with 500+ bhp?
Bobbeh
Probably because the Supra you are in is a bigger more comfy GT car whereas the Silver is a smaller, lighter, noisier sports car. A stock car still feels fast.
Guest godzilla
do you need a single turbo or just up the boost?
Daston
you also got to think that a gtr is all wheel drive where as the supe is 2 wheel drive. Personaly I like a wild rear
