Supragal
What I don't get about Harry Potter is why any child wants to read about some speccy twat on a broomstick? Surely they are playing with their action man toys and stuff?
SupraGirlie
Not just children that read Harry Potter though!
Supragal
Indeed but it is intended for them, at least that's what they keep harping on about. I read half a page of it the other day, sorry but it's a kids book through and through, the childish way she describes things. I'm sure the books are great but I think adults must brush over the kiddy style of writing.

Sheefa
I don't know any ginger blokes, or girls, for obvious reasons. It was indeed amusing.
R3DG3CKO ROB
I've read the books and find them very entertaining, IMO the style of writing does seem to have matured a bit with the characters too but predominantly they still are children's stories but so is the Hobbit and that's frikin awesome The last one is very dark subject matter, dealing with death loss and sacrifice, I can't think that many 7-11 yr olds can really appreciate the content... p.s. I've never read the Sun either...
