Jake
I'm trying to fit a Premium Horn Kit that I got from Nic a while back but I can't find the second stock horn. I've seen this diagram in another thread http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/3271/picture1pv2.png but as far as I can see my car doesn't have the lower horn and I can't see a wire for it either. I've even taken the driver's side headlight out but I still can't find the damn wire. I really don't want to take the bumper off just to fit a horn. Help! JustGav
That diagram seems to indicate it is just in front/behind the slam panel by the crash bar (suppose that would be next to the rad bottle).... Can't say I remember seeing one there on any of the supras I've had.... but then the NA has got a single horn on it now...
Chiefgroover
I have just done this one Jake, its low down on the drivers side of the radiator, well it was on mine but thats not much to go by lol. Is tricky to get at, lucky I had the bumper off for painting.
Jake
OK I'll go have another look. Cheers mate
Jake
Found it. It is indeed on the driver's side of the rad, in front of the rad and directly behind the FMIC. There's no way I can get to it without taking the rad or FMIC out though. Sod that. So that's another item to go in pile of Supra crap in my garage then. :sigh:
JustGav
Get the wire off it, and put the premium kit somewhere more accessible, and just remember to remove the old horn next time you have the rad or fmic out.
Sheefa
Can't you just run one horn for the timebeing Jake in all honesty? Probably a lot better than both stock anyway!
Jake
Sorted. Had a look at my other Supra and found that it only had one horn fitted. So I cut off the spare plug off that car used it on the other one. I've wired both the new horns into the the feed for the top horn. So I've actually got three horns now! One original one and two uprated ones!
Chiefgroover
The wire for the second one is probably tucked away somewhere, glad you got it sorted.
