SupraPL
It is great plan mate! But errr... you are talking about? "Right, this is the plan - - Re-profiled Inlet Cam - Lightened Flywheel - Tubular Exhaust Manifold - Twin De-Cat Pipes (Purchased) - Apex-I S-AFC (Purchased) - Larger bore Full Exhaust System (Purchased) - K&N Induction inc. cold air feed & heat shield (purchased) - Up rated Cam Gears - Complete 4 Piece Lightweight Pulley set (Purchased) - Up rated Spark Plugs - Full Rolling Road Set-Up NOTHING FITTED YET! I AM WAITING UNTIL I HAVE EVERYTHING AND THEN MAKING THE TRANSFORMATION OVER A WEEKEND. With this I'm hoping (laugh if you must!) to be pushing around 260-270 bhp! Then a little shot of Nitrous should top things off nicely!!"
Guest Nicholas
Whats the horsepower of a stock 3.0 SZ I thought it was 230?
juanchan
Dude, your car actually looks purple in those photos! Sweet! And for the money you're forking out to get 260ish bhp, would it not be cheaper to just sell up and get yourself a TT?? Not having a go, just a thought I had (they don't happen very often)! turbonut
This is where turbo peeps say.... "just drop in a TT lump" Have you looked into that option as a price comparison? I recall that a TT block isnt huge monney?? then theres the paintwork 'purple-in-the-sun-but-black-in-the-shade' :hide: lol Lxx
kieren1234
I personally wouldnt bother and go na-t or tt conversion instead. MUCH better power gains. Also the car looks like its black with a puple metal flake in the laquer??? Lovely interior!!
zap
Looking good fella, my bike's that colour too.

Cadburys Purple
WOW! Thanks for the responses guys! Before I started this i made the decision that i did not want to go with the forced induction route due to my past 3 cars being forced and after buying numerous replacement turbo's and parts i want to see how far i can go with the Sup N/A for as little money as possible!!!! So far, as you can see from the list, I have already purchased nearly half of what i want and i have spent £440 and in total the very top line i can see me spending is £1200-£1300 (not including nitrous). Which i'm happy to spend on something that will be different because so far i haven't seen many tweaked N/A's. Thanks again for your input! Daston
in that case might be better to get a small block chevy or something and drop that in
Gazboy
ffs paint that lower front lip and put a proper number plate in. If you aren't turbocharging then a small block chevy/LS1 engine is the way to go imo.
