GeordieSteve
If you don't buy this one I highly recommend Whifbitz all in one de-cats
Steve
Would this one fit. with the sensor hole onthe pipe.
GeordieSteve
Your talking to a complete numbty here but as far as I know the J spec ones don't have the sensor hole. You MAY be able to weld over it but I'd rather go for a propper J spec one that fits straight away.... which is what I'm about to do in about 10 minutes time! Steve
Can anybody else confirm this. The J spec dont have the sensor on the exhaust. Cheers Geordiesteve
keron
i got told that these will only fit uk models as the flanges are different at the top? so they wont fit a jap car.
merckx
I've got a 97 J spec VVTI, there is no sensor in the cat pipe and none in the exhaust. I'm sure the UK spec car has one though. The flange fitted on the decat pipe has a flat face and 2 studs. All you have to do is make up a small steel plate to cover the flange and fasten it with 2 nuts on the studs - use a gasket to give it a good seal. You might even get these bits supplied.
