Ian R
I am on Adsl with Orange. My wireless connection keeps dropping, my signal strength is excellent however after around 10 mins the speed drops from 56mps to 24mps and then to 1mps. If I turn my wifi off at my laptop and back on the speed goes back to 56mps without having to reset my livebox anyone any idea's what is causing this ?? It is livebox doing it my friend. something is absolutely screwed up with built in wireless router. My friend had to connect one to get ornage support, but in his situation it is combination of crap connection quality outside and wireless LAN connection. Once he is switching back to good, old 3com router, everything is getting back to normal (except ADSL speed, which went crap after he signed up for orange contract...) ivan
Orange have got a vested interest in cocking up all UK broadband connections. They're French and hate us.
Nathman
I have found the Orange Live box to be a complete pain in the arse! I have never managed to connect anything to it wirelessly which means I am having to share just two ethernet connections, which is not good when I have too many toys requiring internet access! I am looking to go back to a Netgear set again soon. Can't fault Orange's prices though as I only £5 per month for unlimited Broadband.
