juanchan
I'm in need of a good condition stock intercooler asap please as my UK one is past it's use by date and needs replacing. If anyone's got one going, any chance of some front 'n' back photos and a price please? Cheers, Rich
Ric
there no point in buying a used IC, they will pretty much all be knackered by now try get a new one (i think nick does them cheaply), or replacement like what miamigt used to do, or a CW one
juanchan
TBH I'm not budgeting any decent amount of money on this, so a good quality SMIC that hasn't seen much UK-salted-roads action would be more than adequate for me. I'm only considering this as the intercooler is in atrocious condition (fins corroded back about an inch in places) and I've currently got the front bumper/lights etc off her, so replacing this before putting her back together would make sense. I'd rather not fork out a lot on a higher quality, brand new intercooler when I don't really need that sort of cooling capacity
Guest yoshi_v300
I've got one off my Toyota Aristo Mk.2. which runs the Supra Mk.iv 2jz-gte. I figure it's the same size?!!?!? The intercooler is in good condition.
juanchan
Would anyone know for certain if the mk2 Aristo and mk4 Supra have the same intercooler?? I know very little about Aristos unfortunately. How long until you get your car back from the insurers yoshi? I kinda need it within a week or so if at all possible? Guest yoshi_v300
The stock intercooler is sitting in my garage as we speak - I fitted an ARC intercooler to my Aristo. You got the dimensions of your one? Then I can compare/post photos.

juanchan
aristo and supra have different end tanks on the intercoolers It's times like this I wish I was more technically minded! I assume that means they aren't interchangeable?

Robert
It's times like this I wish I was more technically minded! I assume that means they aren't interchangeable? yeah thats right mate, the end tanks come off at different angle compared to a supra thus the intercooler pipes won't match up to the intercooler
juanchan
how long have you owned your car i ve seen it up for sale before quite a while ago i think I assume you're asking me? I bought it off Laura, a member on here, last December. She had it up for sale for a few weeks before I finally caved. She only owned it for about 5-6 months, so in the last year it's been sold twice, so you may have seen it for sale then.
