Phil the fixer
I am changing the nasty orange lenses in the rear lights to nice white ones, Ive got the doner set stripped down ready for the swap, Ive played with fitting the white lenses from the doner set into the orange housing of the doner set , they kinda fit but there a couple of locator lugs that seem to get in the way. So heres the question - do I cut the lugs of and glue the white lenses in place or am I missing something and making it difficult? Also if its the glue option, what the best glue to use. Cheers Phil
MR.B
Yep you'll need to remove the lugs or they wont fit. I filed the lugs off on my set. I didnt need to use any glue either as they were quite a snug fit in the end.
millhouse
I cut the lugs off and just pushed them in, I had to glue the brake lights though http://www.millhouse.cc/bbs/photos/lights/10.jpg
