ivan
Well done on the prediction James. Yep, I found it quite boring too. I nearly fell asleep about an hour in but I'm not sure if it was the race or the 3 beers and the heat.

grahamc
great race??? that was one of the most boring races ever!! It is absolutely pathetic that these faster cars cannot pass the slower ones... boring is one word, dull is another, I am sure I fell asleep.... I know the missus did! TLicense
Anyone notice that Sutil finished over 3.5 seconds ahead of Barrichello on REAL pace? Should be interesting in Turkey with our new car..... Hungarian GP is always boring. The track's like Monte Carlo (max downforce, very little straights) but without the glitz and glam that makes Monaco special. Hungary, Spain and France. Most boring races. (Although France was quite good this year due to the weather, oh and Spyker being in the lead by over 30 seconds....) ivan
I did Tony. I hope Yamamoto is bringing in plenty of $$$$ - he sure ain't bringing any driving skill worth talking about.
TLicense
$22mill apparently.
Gaz Walker
I hope Yamamoto is bringing in plenty of $$$$ - he sure ain't bringing any driving skill worth talking about. $22mill apparently. I was just thinking the very same thing, he must be putting up big numbers for them to put up with that Gaz.

ivan
As Damon Hill said: "I bet he's regretting being a bit too enthusiastic in qualifying now." (or words to that effect)
Whitesupraboy2
Basically I think the team is a bit screwed now. They'll carry on winning but its 2 teams in one. No one looks happy even Hamilton didnt look that happy.
ivan
Yep, Ron's going to have a hell of a job on his hands to keep those two under control now - especially as he's made such a public fuss of the 'parity'. Alonso's going to keep wanting to stamp his authority as No1 driver on the team and Ron's not going to let him. What's the betting he gets p***ed off and moves next year? Hamilton's going to sit back and try to ignore the politics and let his driving do the talking. At least he can keep a cool head, unlike Alonso. It's not like Ron Dennis hasn't been in this situation before though. He's had to deal with some fiery team mates in the past.
imi
This is what makes McLaren special. I love the fact that we have Alonso (double world champion) and LH - an amazingly nurtured natural talented rookie.......this is what makes sports so entertaining. Its a shame that the Ferrari sponsored FIA want to put a stop to their competitiveness.....
ivan
The weekend enquiry was nothing to do with the FIA though Imi - it was the Race Stewards. Granted, I bet Bernie had a hand in there somewhere though.
imi
Well, you know it stinks when "someone" wont allow even the McLaren boys to collect the manufacturers trophy. As James Allen said - "OFF TRACK POLITICS". Good to see that despite the dirty tricks of other teams, the FIA and even mistakes by the stewards the McLaren boys still stuck in and got the job done. Still dont see why they were punished for championship points..... The muppers make the rules as they go along...

Ian R
How on earth did Mansel get voted sports "personality" of the year once let alone twice ??
Soop Dogg
Did anyone else notice in the post qualifying interview on Saturday (I only saw the relevant bit on the news - not during the qualifying coverage) when Lewis scratched the side of his head with his middle finger? (Flipping the bird at Alonso in the process) I'm sure he did it deliberately as he had a wry smile on his face as he did it! Made us laugh! ivan
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/6934023.stmLOL I love the way they've blown that up into a full headline. I saw the interview - it was just a few soundbites and a personal opinion FFS.
