tomcat Posted August 4, 2007 Share Posted August 4, 2007 im interesting in swopping my turbo for a smaller one. this turbo can take up to 700bhp. im after one that can take up to 500bhp. reason is because ill only be running my engine at 450bhp max for now so the turbo is really to big for this power, its ideal if your running around 600bhp. also im making drift car so its going to be to laggy for it. any offers for swop? cheers aj. tomcat Posted August 5, 2007 Author Share Posted August 5, 2007 chers for replys guys. i dont know much information about the turbo to be honest. all i was told was it was checked out and all was running fine, theres slight movement in the shaft but im told the amount is normal by a few people that know there stuff about turbos. couple of pics the housing is polished not does need re doing as i got fed up and just buffed it up so needs few more bits rubbing down and re buffing to be perfect. I have a feeling that this in my gt4067 that I had on my 2.5L Soarer. Nice turbo, purchased it new from Kean @ Boostlogic in '05 I believe. Mileage on the blower is 6,200km (2 oil changes), it was a customer's that he upgraded for a PT67 about 3 weeks ago. Turbo is in perfect condition polished with the elbow welded for a Supra setup, like you have. I dynoed the customer's car on this 60-1 setup, at 1,45 bars @ 523 rwhp. It has full boost at 2900 rpm and it starts boosting from 1500rpm. Pretty nice turbo, and i think it's exactly what you are looking for.
