Pixelfill
Oh my God - how annoyed is Ron Dennis ? Sneaky tactics from Alonso ... Mike
DaveK
I've always thought Alonso was OK - now I think he's a cheating git.

mathew
i dont usually get emotional watching any sport but i was screaming at that cheating/sneaky bas***d to get going!!
DaveK
Alonson and Hamilton were both in the pits - Alonso was in Hamilton was waiting. Lollipop went up Alonso waited about 10s before pulling out (hence blocking Lewis). Lewis missed his last attempt by 4s, and Alonso took pole. grahamc
sorry but I loved it!! However I am not a maclaren fan. Brilliant move
colsoop
I would be quite pleased if i was Hamilton, the fact that Alonso had to stop him from racing on an even keel is the sign of a desperate man. The funniest thing was Ron dennis frog marching Alonso's trainer to the garage he looked seriosuly pissed
Pixelfill
Apparently it was a Team decision Not very sporting, Latino temperament usually isn't though is it. Mike
Jason
That's got to be one of the best moments in Formula 1 history. Surley Alonso is just being competitive, how can he challenge for the championship if he can't be competitive?
Terminator
Alonso is turning to a twat. If he cant beat his team mate on the track he turns dirty. It will be covered up and everyone will smile. Lost all respect for him. He changes the subject when questioned. Good for Hamilton not responding.
Gord R
I Havent seen Ron that mad before in a long time.. There was a clip at the end of the prog of him on the it wall.. man he was mental. Lewis didnt look that much happier either " you all saw what happened"
TLicense
I think fair play to him. It's not outside the rules, and it will unsettle Hamilton for the rest of the weekend. Good move in my book.

You say that but if the boot was on the other foot - we all know Alonso would be kicking off
Pixelfill
It's never a good idea to piss your boss off though. Alonso is just fortunate that neither Heidfeld nor Raikonnen improved their times significantly enough to displace Hamilton - otherwise the McLaren 1-2 would have been lost On a plus side Hamilton has now more fuel than anticipated. TLicense
Exactly! That's why it's a good move. Psychologically Hamilton will be on a back foot. Alonso knew that not only would it stop him from completing a final lap, it would also piss him off, because if it happened the other way it would piss Alonso off. TLicense
You would say that though wouldn't you no vested interest here Mike I think seeing as Sutil is 1 sec a lap quicker than Sakon, there would be little point in bothering with such tactics at the "friendlier end of the grid".
