DannyW Posted August 4, 2007 Share Posted August 4, 2007 It seems that i may have picked up a virus of some sort on my laptop, it's one of those b*ggers that pops up saying my computer is infected and that i need to buy and install their program in order to get rid of it. Winantivirus i think it's called. Is there a free program i can download that will get rid of this? as i don't fancy doing it all manually for fear of deleting the wrong files. Any help welcomed. They can in some cases open backdoors and re-install themselves even after you have attempted to clean up after them. Don't buy anything. Wait 10 minutes, I will edit this post with program , which is getting rid of that crap.
