DArby
Has anyone done this ?? Since having the alignment done, the wheel has been annoyingly on the pee since. Finally getting to the point when i want to do something about it, i guess its not like the old fashion wheels where you whip the nut off, put a cushion between you and the wheel and pull it till it comes off.. If anyone has done it (safely) - i'm not to keen about small explosions close to me.. - let me know Dean..
Gordon F
Probobly best to leave the wheel on! If you lengthten one track rod and shorten the other by the same amount (maybe 1/2 turn each side), the tracking will stay the same, but the position of the steering wheel will alter. Maybe take it back to the alignment place and get them to do it!

The chances are that even if you did take the stering wheel off , you would't get it 100% right as it slips onto a `cog-like-thing' with (guess) 30 odd possible positions to put the wheel back on at . Track ends can be adjusted much more accuratley
