Guigsy
yep. id like to get some of them at one point. maybe when i decide i can afford to have my doors resprayed. but apparently the vision out of them isnt that good
Blackie
if they fit to the original mount the doors wont need a respray
gaz1
if they fit to the original mount the doors wont need a respray they fit the original mounts but they are not the same shape, ie the base is smaller on these, so you may need to;) i have them on mine
supRo
Vision area is smaller but you get used to it. I don't see why you have to have the door re-sprayed as the Ganador mount area is larger than stock - You may find rust when you take off the original mirror so you should treat that. Once treated, the whole of the original mirror mount area will be covered up with the Ganador mirror. ***Make sure you seal the electrical connector, otherwise the terminals may corrode and your mirrors stop working*** I had this problem. I've since cleaned up the terminals and just wounded the electrical connector tightly with electrical tape and it's been fine. You do get water getting in as these mirrors don't have a good seal. Nic
As said already the Ganador mirrors are a straight swap for the stock mirrors. They are available with or without built in indicators in the mirrors and in 3 flavours, plain GRP, GRP with blue tinted mirrors, or Carbon Fibre effect finish. If anyone would like prices please let me know. gaz1
sorry boys but i have ganadors on mine, and the base sits about half and inch higher than stock will upload a couple of pics later, unless mine are badly fitted:( but i can deff see where the old ones were
dangerous brain
Wonder if ganador make mirrors for the aristo with indicators in them?? The carbon fibre ones would look good on a black or white car, no paint required then. Do they electrically adjust still then?
Nic
They are available without the indicators I think, but not with. http://www.ganador.co.jp/product/mirror/img/jzs140_500.jpg
Pete
Something that's always put me off these mirrors is the flat bit next to the window. There's usually a big gap between that and the car which looks a bit unsightly up close.

Pete
Any pictures of thus said Pete? I'm afraid not, it's just an observation I've made as I've seen them at shows. They always seem to photograph very well. I'm sure it's just me being a picky sod.

They come with foam edging anyway (That's why they let water in!)
