Digsy
Series link: Does actually bloody work??? They've just started showing the "new" series's or Doctor Who again on UK Gold so I set up Sky+ to record one at random and hit Series Link. It duly added the little green arrows to the planner bar and I went away and left my box to do its thing. Last night I got around to watching the first episode. It just so happened to be part 1 or a two-parter. I checked through my EPG to see when part two would be on only to find that (since none of the programme descriptions matched what I was expecting) it had been and gone! How come it wasn't recorded? I believe that UK Gold are showing two episodes back to back on three days of the week. Would Series Link only look for a programme on the same day and the same time (seems pretty dumb), or should it in theory thread all the episodes together no matter when they are on? SimonB
It should record them all, but it depends on the channel putting the right thing into the programme listing which they often cock up.
DaveK
Mine has always worked. The first two episodes of Heroes was back to back, and my box got them both (although the timing seems to be out, so it chopped the end off!).
steb9780
Don't set it to do it, and then turn the power off at the wall. Saying that surely nobody can be that daft
Digsy
Should the other episodes appear in the programme listings as "to be recorded"?

MrRalphMan
Should the other episodes appear in the programme listings as "to be recorded"? Only the next one, once that's recorded the next will pop in. Until the TV co takes one off and that's it, it all stops.
