neilg
Hi everyone, Im getting some new wheels and was after some thoughts on the correct tyre sizes. I want as wide as i can get on the back probably 285 unless i could go bigger. The lowest profile possible in the sizes and if anyone has got any suggestions to which tyres available at the moment are all out best for dry weather grip. The wheels will be 19x8.5 front and 19x10 back. Thanks people:thumbs:
AJI
285 width should go on easily enough on the back. To keep the rolling radius the same (which you muct do otherwise your speedo will be reading wrong). Calculate your tyre sizes here : http://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyresize.html Aim to get the minimal difference between the two. As for the front, 245 or 255 is about as wide as you would need to go to keep the front/rear grip balance right.

matt
I think the recommended sizes for the Lexus GS rims (same size as yours) are 245/40 and 275/
