scooby_doo_do
I always make my own burgers.. I love cooking as well.. The best way i've found is to buy the mince (Cheaper i've found better as it has slightly more fat in it), Fresh Basil, Chilli, breadcrumbs, Olive oil and mozzarella.. Mix up the mince, breadcrumbs, olive oil, Chilli and basil.. This bits great - squidge it all up in you fingers.. Once thats done make some small balls (About the size of golf balls) Get 2 of the golf ball sized patty's, flatten them out so they are just under a centimeter thick and then stick some mozzeralla on top of one of them and seal with the other one on top. BBQ... When they are cooked the cheese will be melted in the middle... :-) They are my favourite, and dead easy to make.
Ark
Personally I don't generally eat burgers unless we're out at a car event, but strangely those are objectively nasty and crappy...and still taste good. How is that? Only time I made my own burgers they tasted great, but shrivelled from a nice flat round patty, into meatballs...still went down a treat though.
