Full decat and fuelling issues

Ive removed the first cat on my Jspec TT and im hitting a constant 15psi :D

Im now going to remove the second cat and fit a restrictor ring to keep the boost at about 1.2bar. Will the stock fuel map's cope with this amount of boost or will it be worth fitting an uprated fuel pump for long term piece of mind

1.2 bar will be just about ok *IF* your existing stock fuel pump is working 100%

I'd get an uprated Walbro or similar just to be on the safe side. When I went on a dyno I found out that my decatted RZ was running dangerously lean at high boost due to the 10 year old pump being a bit tired.

to be honest it would be better for the soop if you added an uprated guel pump such as a walbro one. this is so you dont hit detonation on full boost.i jsut got my soop fully decatted and i got a walbro fuel pump and emanage. its better to have some confidence your not doing any damage when u put your foot down.

Dude, what does the regulator regulate (and how much £) is this deff. neccesary, only I am thinking of a similar setup and want to make sure everything will run sweet:cool: :)

The regulator regulates the fuel pressure dude , the advantage of an adj.one is that you can tweak the fuel pressure to suit your needs , you can fit a small guage to the front so you can moniter pressure at any time , the FSE is a rising rate reg , meaning that the fuel pressure will rise at a faster rate than a stock reg which is handy if you are trying to max the 440's , for every other application IMO id go for a Aeromotive or if your very flush a Wealdon .
