cheekymonkey
Right, need to buy some tyres for my A6 - never bought a set before for this car! Looking around it seems really hard to find "Y" rated tyres at a reasonable price. Found a table which suggests Y corresponds to 186mpg! This is a diesel we are talking about! Can I get away with putting some slightly more normal tyres on there? I can get goodyear F1s for 80 quid a corner (not fitted) but they are "W" rated. Gerry
186 MPG is pushing it even for a diesel..:)

cheekymonkey
Ha, whoops well spotted. That link is fine but does it mean if I put lower W rated ones on, my insurance will be invalid or something?
