Mike
any noticeable difference in performance?
BASHTHEBISHOP
I have the nur spec R with 2nd decat on my TT. I have kept the baffle in. It is exactly how i would want.... Sounds great when foot down, not too much drone on the motorway and looks very nice! Is it worth it? Depends what you have now & what you want from it! Faye
Any of the N/A boys like to share their experiences? I'll ignore the boys comment! I've been more than happy with my Nurspec, nearly been on the car four years, scrubs up well and sounds gorgeous. If loud is your thing then I can't recommend it enough. Even if you've still got the cats in it makes a reasonable noise increase over stock (which is whisper quiet anyway), but its nothing too offensive and you can always bung it. I've always found it a bit drony at 70-75ish, but its something you get used to. If you're planning to take the cats out though it is awesomely loud Does it increase performance? Not so you'd notice, the only (minor) increase I noticed was on full decat.
Scooter
I have a Nur spec 'S' (backbox) secondhand these are £150 ish Gives a slight (nice IMO) burble like an 'R' just quieter........will liven up with a decat........but i'd think a 2nd decat and 'S' spec would be similar noise levels to a 'R' on a fully catted car...... I like subtle noise, i couldn't live with a 'R' and partial/full decat........Fayes is extremely loud!
Ian R
Nur spec on a NA will be loud as ........
Ark
I wouldn't bother. I'd spend the same money on a 6-2-1 exhaust header instead - better flow and dumps the DP cat. I was privileged to experience an unusual exhaust setup on a wild Scooby recently - totally stock set of back boxes so it was beautifully quiet, but the front pipes were all done so the flow was awesome. Bit laggy but that thing flew!!
Mike
I'll ignore the boys comment! Sorry Faye Thanks for the feedback.... thinking about it as a 'real world type thing', I suspect my neighbours would actually kill me if I got one, and if all it adds is noise then.... I think I'll leave it. Cheers peeps
SupraGirlie
Heard one yesterday on an N/A, and I heard it 5minutes after he had gone! I will be ordering one next week put it that way.
AndrewOW
Heard one yesterday on an N/A, and I heard it 5minutes after he had gone! I will be ordering one next week put it that way. You got yourself a new car then? Will look forward to seeing that at our little Brighton meet. A decatted N/A with a Nur Spec will be deafeningly loud. Not sure I'd recommend it if you want to be on speaking terms with your neighbours etc!
dr_blackman
Get the rx model like I will be doing mate There's a post today with a clip on the general forum
RedM
Don't forget that the Nur-Spec hangs REALLY low under the car. Might make it a tad difficult for you if the car is your daily driver.
dr_blackman
The rx fits better

Any of the N/A boys like to share their experiences? Blitz do these 2 exhausts specifically for the 2JZGE Supra which are road legal, so shouldn't be too loud. 23309 Blitz REALIZE-TT 25309 Blitz REALIZE-TTR http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://www.blitz.co.jp/products/ex.system/realizeTT/realizeTT.htm&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=1&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dhttp://www.blitz.co.jp/products/ex.system/realizeTT/realizeTT.htm%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dsafari%26rls%3Den or as Dave says go for the Nur Spec RX as that is the quietest of the range. Guest Chumpalot
My HKS hangs lower than the Nur Spec did, was a bit of a problem until I had the larger wheels put on.
