stevie_b
Hi all, Has anyone bought a workshop manual from http://www.workshopmanuals.co.uk? Are they any good for an imported (NA) Supe? It'll save me asking really silly questions and making a fool of myself on this website!! Can anyone recommend a good maintenance manual for an NA? Don't mind if its got TT-specific stuff in it too (give me something to drool over before my next purchase ) Thanx
michael
It's utter garbage - judging by the filenames on the sample PDFs he's showing it's just the same old easily found few badly scanned pages that are on eBay - for my sins I used to sell this on there myself alongside the MR2 one but having bought a Supra and then tried to use it I realised it was poo and stopped. It's not worth parting with that kind of cash for, maybe £1 or something If anyone wants to host the "full" CD I'd be happy to mail them a copy on the basis that they share it up somewhere for everyone to access for free - the files total around 100mb if I remember correctly. Ideally it would be good if some of the people on here who have the paper manuals could lend them to someone for scanning purposes - obviously for a small fee - and then we could try to get a complete set together. stevie_b
Cheers Michael, that's saved me a few wasted quid. I don't suppose we could host the manuals on this site somehow?
michael
I think the legal aspect of it might be an issue, obviously the manuals are copyright to Toyota so copying them might be frowned upon?
stevie_b
Quite right mate. My mistake. I don't run a website myself, so I couldn't host them. I'll ask around though....
JustGav
I would be willing to host them on my site, does mean I have to upgrade the hosting size, but I don't see that being an issue... If you can find out how much space is required, I will start making the required noises.... Gav
