SilverMachine
I've got a tyre that had a screw in it very near the outer wall. All the tyre repair centres tell me they can't repair with the standard patch, but it's possible to have a 'vulcanised repair'. Anyone know someone who does this kind of repair? I've search around and can't find anyone. If they have a word for the repair, you'd think it exists! Tyre is a 19" and is 3 months old with loads of tread. Seems a shame to skip it. Havard
Cheers H, I'll call them. Have you have repairs done by them on your tyres? Gaz No mate! I wouldn't go there is you paid me..... Joking! I had two new tyres from there about 3 weeks ago. Whilst they were doing mine, Anthony was doing one of those repairs to a Michelin Pilot Sport off a Porsche 911. Seemed very thorough and not too expensive. I think it was about £25 but I could be wrong. The tyre was £200 worth so it was a bit of a no brainer mate!
