250horses
Got my new dump valve, now I know I gotta remove the Toyota BOV. Once I remove the Toyota BOV, has anyone got any ideas what I can block the holes off with ?
SimonB
I see you're already using the good old "bolt in rubber hose" technique! I was after some vac caps when I fitted my boost controller recently, but I couldn't find anywhere that sold them so I resorted to the bolt technique too! Quite a few other people said they'd done the same. The other thing you could use sounds a bit bizzare, but in B&Q they sell rubber bits for the end of walking sticks. I bocked one of my BOV hose outlets with one of those, fitted a treat with a hose clamp round it. *Waits for inevitable walking stick old codger jokes*

richardharmon
The HKS BOV comes with a rubber cap that fits where the stock hose used to connect to, not to dissimilar to those walking stick ends I suppose Can I ask what you've done with your stock BOV, the small pipe that comes out the top seems to be disconnected and blocked off. Is this not a bad idea as the BOV won't actuate when you let off the throttle? Just thought I'd ask
scooby_doo_do
Me confused... I have a Blitz bov on the intercooler pipe.... But the standard one is still on aswell.... 250horses
You should remove the Toyota BOV and block off the holes if you have a Dump Valve on your intercooler pipe. See the Apexi Instructions on this link. http://www.apexi-usa.com/productdocumentation/intake_bov_jza80.pdf

There's not much point in having it if you have another one in another place though, so you might as well. They will both be dumping when you lift off.
