Dieing lambda Symptoms?

Took the Supra out to try and finish the mapping, seemed OK for a while, and then the AFRs started to go rich, a bit random but in essence it would occasionally run at stoic but most of the time it was down in the 10 s:( even on idle, so is this a dieing lambda? i think my wideband is ok as on closed throttle and on boost it behaves as i would expect.

Next question, how many wires does the std sensor have? and is it the same as MR2 type? as i can get one here http://www.lambdasensor.com/main/mr2.htm

Hello mate,

I had a similar problem once and it turned out to be my wideband sensor. I bought a new sensor for it. Have u calibareted it recently.

The bosch sensor on the innovate is the same as some audi/vw and i got few from my breakers yard about 25 quid each.

It may be that you're on the limits of what the stock ECU can adjust for. In closed loop it will only lean off (or richen up) a certain amount. You may need to pull more fuel out so it doesn't have to adjust so much.

Surly that would make no difference as it is still running as STD ECU, no fuelling adjustments are made below 4,000 RPM, i have just switched over to running the ECU from my wide bands narrow band sim and it seems to fluctuate more, (this is on idle and not fully warm) but the std sensor that is suspect will go from 14.4 to 15.1 on idle, but with the sim its 13.9 to 15.0 strange as it should be a replica of a std NB output, may have to tweak it slightly.

Wont really get a chance to tell until i take it out and check AFRs at cruse.
