MarkTheBoy Posted July 28, 2007 Share Posted July 28, 2007 I saw it last sunday, really enjoyed it... few plot holes and confusing looking fight scenes aside it was really good. Just wish they had made the robots less confusing looking, sometimes it was really tricky to see what was going on and who was whupping who. The bots in the citroen ads look better in my opinion... Some good humorous bits thrown in too though they did try a little hard in a couple of places. All in all, one of the best films to come out this year, it's certainly worth going to the cinema to see (first time I've thought that in a couple of years!). Animal Posted July 30, 2007 Share Posted July 30, 2007 Absolutely class film. How many people now want a new 'vette? That thing was drool-worthy. Comedy highlight of the film for me though has to be the desert sequence at the start. The americans view of what Qatar looks like is hilarious - one of the nicest, most affluent arab states shown as a decrepid 3rd world country, ha, ha. Did anyone see the advert for a film at the start that was a farewell party, then an "earthquake" struck and they went to the roof and saw the city on fire? Thought the film was good but as soon as that S7 guy appear's it just became cheese, till they left the dam. The fight scene were confusing and some were to close to the action as you couldn't see what was going on. I'll still be buying the DVD when it comes out.
