Young angry people

Recommended Posts

What is it with a lot of guys in their 20s? Many seem permanently angry with the world.

Take one of my employees this morning.

There's a T junction and bend just around the corner. I turn into our road and round the bend when I see a flash of silver in the opposite way and hear tyre screeching. Look into my rear view mirror to see an MG-ZS (just the same as my employees) sliding sideways on wet roads across the T junction over two lanes and into the path of a van. How it missed anything I've no idea!

Can't be him I think as it's going the wrong way.

I'm opening up when he pulls into the car park.

"That wasn't you drifting earlier was it?" I ask in disbelief.

"I've had a bad drive in this morning" he replies shaking and angry.

:wtf:

I gently advised him that he should take it easy or he's going to hurt himself or someone else.

What I've not figure yet is why he came to work, sat in the car park, then zoomed off (as other staff put it). I'll have a word when he's calmer I think.

Pete we all have bad days mate. I don't think it's just a guy think though, there's alot of angry young women out there as well. I blame the Spice Girls.:D

I guess..I just feel as I get older I become calmer and more in control of these feelings and can see it in others.

As for women - totally right. They're behaving more like blokes nowadays.

There's still no excuse for driving dangerously like that.

Is he normally ok?? Sounds like a right prick to me....

There must be something bothering him to get all wound up like that!!

H.

Very introvert and quiet normally. I suspect there's ticking to be heard from within his head when up close.

I feel the same, by the time I'm your age I'll be seriously chilled! :D

I used to have a very short fuse and bad temper when I was younger.

:tongue: you just don't like to think we're competing on the same level as you :p

anyway, thats a hairdressers car - maybe he was having a bad hair day :D

Yeah, tbh we all get days like that and its too easy to floor it in a supra, that angry roar from a straight six can be quite satisfying :innocent:

lolxx

some young guy spat at my window because i wouldnt move over more into the right hand lane at a roundabout (i would have been past the white line if i had)

He shouted a few select words and did a bit of a hand jive for a few minutes, the car infront pulled away so he had room to pass me, then he spat at my window :(

I think iv found out who he is though, so a bit of payback time might be in order :eyebrows:
