mattanna
Saw one of these today on a car transporter with a load of Corsa's, apparently they are 6 litre v8 411bhp, looked a bit crap to me and also a bit like a vectra had ram raided halfords and come out with bits stuck to it, reviews say it will hit 0-62 in 4.9 and do 170mph, did not know they were available yet:search:

outatime
I preferred the Monaro. If I ever get conned into having kids, I would certainly consider a VXR Monaro, it would be worth it for the engine alone

outatime
mmm me too not exactly the same class of car though! I was about to say that, wasn't the SV more than twice the price of a Monaro? You can get a 56 plate VXR Monaro on delivery miles for less than 20k, it is a lot of car for the money. I saw an SV on the M54 the other day, first one i've spotted on the roads. MarkTheBoy
You lot are all gonna call me gay but I really like the new VXR range, my mate has just got a Astra VXR as a company car and for a 2.0 Turbo it doesn't mess about. Its gotta be the quickest in its class and it looks great too (imho of course) Vauxhall have come on leaps and bounds in the last few years... apart from the corsa of course, which i still think is just an overdressed nova. *ducks and awaits the caning*
