Right guys basicly i work for a big printing company i used to work at our main branch in colchester but we also had a little one man branch on the garrison building site.

Well they deside even though i was only 19 at the time they wanted to give me a chance at running my own branch. So they gave me the one on the garrison. I have been here for about 10months now and its been going great everyone is happy and im doing a really good job.

The only thing is i sit in an office all day on my own. Most days i dont have alot to do and there is even some days where i have absolutly no work to do. Occassionly the girls in the office next door come and say hi but it doesnt help.

Im starting to get so bored i dont know what to do with myself the days are such a drag, there is only so many websites you can look at before that gets boring an ive completed most of my computer games!

HELP ME what can i do...

mate .. been there many times .... only one thing for it, start putting the feelers out for a new job. maybe give it 12 months in the postions though, cause then you can say you managed x for 1 year and looking for more challenges ?

Good idea mate ;)

Suggestions are below. Some less serious than others ...

- Write a business plan for opening another branch office (with you running it) and hand it to the higher-ups?

- Book yourself into some free binge drinking sessions trade show days?

- Paint the office?

- Start you own business selling stuff on eBay, while it's quiet?

- Make yourself a suit from scratch?

- Learn a second language?

- Take up Yoga?

:)

Know how you feel. The boredom I endure each day has given me an unhealthly addiction to the forum...only a matter of time before I get busted and sacked! :(

Am looking for a new job and I think that is the only thing for it to be honest....good luck!

I know how you feel fella, I work at a Jaguar dealership and in is quiet as fook, nothing to do all day, but on the upside i am moving to a Ford dealer next week which should be a lot busier.

Ford lost $12.5b last year - how busy can it be, heh heh :p

You always do what I used to do. Took all the pipes of the Soarer, took them to work and polished them, then the cam covers, when I finished that I took the wheels in and sprayed them, then I just started reading books. I did work there for 7 years, in the end I left because I done most of the work on the car:d
